UAV-technology is an emerging and challenging technology addressing numerous application fields. One special application is the use of UAVs or drones for characterisation of electromagnetic fields propagated by the many and various types of outdoor antenna installations.

UAV-based antenna measurements are considered as the future quantum leap in outdoor antenna measurements.

Since the foundation of Aeroxess in 2011 the development of UAVs dedicated to antenna measurements is a major focus of the company's R&D activities.

As a result the HERCULES-ONE platform arised comprising all essential features enabling high-end and large-scaled near-field antenna probing.

12th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EUCAP 2018) in London

 

In this framework Aeroxess is co-organizing an AMTA Scientific Workshop on “UAV-based Antenna and Field Measurements” being considered as the future quantum leap in outdoor antenna measurements.

This half-day event will feature approximately ten speakers from all-over the world discussing RF/UAV measurement approaches, setup and positioning strategies.

The workshop will be an unique opportunity to discuss this approaching new technology with a very focused audience and help you building up your network in this very new and challenging domain.
